Who am I? How did I end up here? What can you expect from my blog?
Well, those are the three main questions I will be discussing in my very first blog post. First of all, I am Nawal, currently a 20 year old Economics student at AUS. My family and friends call me "Lala". I am a happy person, sometimes moody, and I love to write. I believe writing comes with numerous personal benefits. The freedom of expression is just... relieving. I believe that anyone's personal opinion and views on absolutely anything should matter, whether one agrees or not. Anyone can make a difference :)
Learning to share your thoughts can definitely make life easier, as long as it is delivered the right way. I had to learn this the hard way, I started off keeping my thoughts private, then it didn't feel right, so I ended up sharing too much. The result was catastrophic. Obviously, I was the one who had to suffer for it in the end, so I then learned to differentiate between what to keep to myself and what to share. I personally own a private journal, where I just blab my heart out every now and then. The results are impeccably rewarding! I am definitely a much more peaceful person because of it. For those of you who are emotional like myself, and does not have a journal, you really should try it, I highly recommend it. It also does not have a character limit, unlike your Twitter accounts. However, it is private so it all really depends on personal preferences.
Since I have a passion for writing, sometimes I just feel like I have so many ideas to share with the world, and obviously writing those ideas into my PRIVATE journal cannot benefit anyone but me, right? Therefore, I have always been meaning to blog, but to be honest, I was shy and hesitant at first. I am aware that I am no expert. So I simply procrastinated and it just never happened until today.
I basically ended up here after seeing quite a few blog posts that I did not like. Not because the content was boring, but perhaps because it felt impersonal. I am no blogging expert here, but I like to establish a connection with whatever I read. (Just like when we imagine we're the characters in the books that we read, haha.) So starting from today, I decided to just share whatever I felt like sharing with my readers from the top of my mind and the bottom and the bottom of my heart. Cheesy.
To be honest, I named the title of this blog "The Mosh Pit", because I have a feeling it will be a mix of random posts. So my blog will definitely be my mental mosh pit. I have not really decided to concentrate my thoughts on anything specific yet. I love food, so I will probably start posting about it soon. Also, coffee, pets, fashion, and travel are just among other things that I target to share. I love cats and dogs, so I will definitely be posting pictures of them as well!
Please support me, have a nice day and I hope you all enjoy!
My dog, Gucci, being lazy :)
